The Short Version: Partile is a professional networking app for airport travellers. By using it, you agree to behave professionally, respect other users, and understand that we're providing a platform — not guaranteeing you'll meet your next business partner.
1. Who We Are
Partile is operated by PARTILE LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales. When we say "Partile," "we," or "us," we mean PARTILE LTD.

2. Accepting These Terms
By creating an account or using Partile, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
3. Eligibility
To use Partile, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid LinkedIn account
- Provide accurate information in your profile
- Have legal capacity to agree to these terms
Partile is a professional networking tool. It's designed for adult professionals.
4. Your Account
Creating an Account
You sign in using LinkedIn OAuth. You're responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information in your profile (job title, company, industry, bio)
- Keeping your LinkedIn account secure (since it's your login method)
- Everything that happens under your account
One Account Per Person
Each person may have only one Partile account. Don't create multiple accounts.
5. What Partile Is (and Isn't)
Partile IS:
- A professional networking platform for airport travellers
- A way to meet relevant people during travel downtime
- A tool for business conversations, industry connections, and professional opportunities
Partile IS NOT:
- A dating app
- A platform for sales pitches, spam, or unsolicited commercial messages
- A recruitment tool for mass outreach
- A replacement for LinkedIn — we complement it
6. User Conduct
This is a professional space. By using Partile, you agree to:
Do:
- Be respectful and professional in all interactions
- Use your real identity (as verified by LinkedIn)
- Represent your professional background honestly
- Report users who violate these terms
Don't:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk outreach
- Use Partile for dating or romantic solicitation — this is a professional platform
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Discriminate against others based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
- Share illegal content or use Partile for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to scrape, harvest, or collect user data from Partile
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Create fake profiles or misrepresent your professional background
- Share other users' information outside Partile without their consent
We want Partile to be a space where professionals feel comfortable networking. If your behaviour makes that harder, you're doing it wrong.
7. Boarding Pass Data
Your Responsibility
When you scan your boarding pass, the extracted flight information (airline, flight number, airports, terminal, gate, departure time) is used to match you with nearby professionals.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring the boarding pass you scan is your own
- Verifying that the extracted flight details are accurate before confirming
- Not scanning boarding passes that belong to other people
Our Processing
We extract only the flight information listed above. We do not store the barcode image. Trip data is automatically deleted 72 hours after departure. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Chat and Communication
Chats between connected users are private to those users. We do not read, monitor, or analyse the content of your messages, except:
- When required by law (e.g., court order)
- When investigating a reported violation of these terms
- To detect and prevent abuse (automated systems only)
Chat messages persist until you delete them or delete your account. You're responsible for the content of your messages.
9. Intellectual Property
Ours
The Partile app, brand, logo, design, code, and algorithms are owned by PARTILE LTD or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Partile without our written permission.
Yours
You retain ownership of any content you create on Partile (profile text, messages, bio). By using Partile, you grant us a limited licence to display your profile information to other users and to operate the service. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or your account.
10. No Guarantees
Let's be upfront:
- We don't guarantee matches. You might scan your boarding pass and find zero matches at your terminal. That's possible, especially while we're growing.
- We don't guarantee connections. Other users may not accept your connection request.
- We don't guarantee outcomes. We facilitate introductions. What happens next is between you and the other person.
- We don't guarantee uptime. The app may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
- We don't vet users. While LinkedIn sign-in provides a baseline of identity verification, we don't independently verify users' professional claims, employment status, or credentials.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Partile is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Partile.
- We are not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or opportunity arising from connections (or lack thereof) made through Partile.
- We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether on or off the platform.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Partile is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which may be £0 if you're on a free plan).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
12. Account Termination
By You
You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you do, we'll delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You violate our user conduct standards
- Your account appears to be fake or fraudulent
- We're required to do so by law
- We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)
If we terminate your account for a terms violation, we'll tell you why (unless prohibited by law). You can appeal by emailing [email protected].
13. Third-Party Services
Partile integrates with LinkedIn for authentication. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy. We're not responsible for LinkedIn's practices or availability.
14. Disputes and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We'd prefer to resolve disputes informally first. If you have a concern, email [email protected] and we'll try to sort it out before anyone involves lawyers.
15. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. The unenforceable part will be interpreted as closely as possible to its original intent.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Partile regarding your use of the service. They replace any prior agreements or understandings.
